Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018)

The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) is the latest budget J-series smartphone introduced by the company. The low-end smartphone is similar to the J3 (2017) in terms of design and other elements. It features a polycarbonate plastic rear panel which is topped with round edges on all sides; there is a front-facing home button, and one interesting feature about the handset is that it comes with a rear and frontal LED flash. For shutterbugs, the Galaxy J2 (2018) comes with an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. Both the imaging sensors are aided by an LED flash for better imaging, videos, and selfies. The secondary shooter can also be used for video calling via popular apps like Skype, Messenger, etc. 

The Galaxy J2 (2018) is armed with a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor which is coupled with 2GB of RAM enabling a smooth smartphone experience. For storage, there is 16GB of onboard storage space which can be further expanded up to 256GB through a microSD card. 

The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) flaunts a 5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display which is bright and reproduces vibrant colours. Outdoor legibility is also great, and one can easily read the screen while out in the sun. Connectivity options that tag along with the Galaxy J2 (2018) include dual-SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and a microUSB 2.0 port. 

The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) is fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 2,600mAh battery, which is claimed to offer up to 7 hours of talk time. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 7.1 operating system out of the box.
