Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 Details

Introduction
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is the successor to the ultra-popular Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched in India earlier this year, and it was sold in high numbers. In fact, it was the only smartphone that gave the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro a tough competition. Now that the Max Pro M2 is out, it is expected to be the best smartphone in its price range.
Display & Camera
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has a 6-inch LCD with IPS technology and Full HD+ resolution. The display has a nearly bezel-less design, and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Unfortunately, the display does not feature Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Coming to the camera, the smartphone has a dual-camera setup at the back. The camera has phase-detection autofocus and an LED flash. Similar to the Zenfone Max Pro M1, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 also has 4K video recording capability. There is also portrait mode on board for a DSLR-like bokeh effect images. At the front, the smartphone has a 13MP selfie camera.
Processing Hardware and Software
One of the features that made the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 so popular was its powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. While the Max Pro M1 had the most powerful chipset in its price range, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 takes the game even further. The smartphone has an even more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The chipset has octa-core CPU which consists of four high-performance cores and four power-efficient cores. With the Snapdragon 660 SoC, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is the most powerful smartphone in its price range. The smartphone comes in two storage variants 64GB and 128GB. The base variant has 4GB of RAM, while the top of the line variant has 6GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with the latest version of Android, the 9 Pie.
Battery & Connectivity
The USP of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was its large 5000mAh battery. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 continues the legacy of its predecessor. The smartphone carries forward the same 5000mAh battery. However, this time around, the smartphone also has fast charging, making its battery backup experience even better. The Zenfone Max Pro M2 brings with it a new set of connectivity features. The smartphone has a microUSB 2.0 port and Bluetooth v5.0. The smartphone also has other standard connectivity options like dual-SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
