Gionee F103 3GB RAM

Gionee has introduced the F103 under the Fashion and Lifestyle series of smartphones. The device is cost-effective and makes its mark with decent specs.

The Gionee F103 runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with the Amigo UI 3.0 skin on top. The smartphone looks compact, but it isn't the slimmest device around, the edges are sharp and it feels a bit uncomfortable in the hands. 

Performance is decent considering the fact that the smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MedaiTek chipset. Also, there is 2GB of RAM to allow lag-free multitasking. 
The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage space which can further be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

Connectivity options on the F103 include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, and a microUSB 2.0 port. The device boasts a 5-inch HD screen that is ideal for watching videos, playing games and browsing the web. 

The device has the capacity to capture decent images and record videos courtesy an 8-megapixel rear camera which paired with an LED flash can take care of images in low light. On the front, the device hosts a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter on board. For a normal user, the Li-Ion 2,400 mAh battery is expected to last throughout the day.
