HTC 10 Details

HTC's latest flagship phone is the HTC 10. The company has developed a fresh approach by dropping the 'M' prefix.
The device looks similar to its predecessor, the HTC One A9 and comes with a metal unibody design. The smartphone boasts a 5.2-inch screen with a Super LCD5 QHD display technology which means there is no air gap between the outer glass and display component which reduces glare and increases visibility while consuming less power.
The imaging front covers a 12-megapixel laser-assisted autofocus rear camera which also has optical image stabilisation and can simultaneously record 4K videos. The company has also thrown in a 5-megapixel front snapper which also supports OIS for selfies and video calling. The OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) feature is sported in both the front and the rear cameras and also supports 4K video recording. The large camera sensor on the front stands out as a unique feature.
The power and the volume buttons are placed on the right side of the phone's panel. The fingerprint scanner isn t placed on the rear but is instead embedded in the Home button. This sensor helps in unlocking the phone without entering the password. The conventional dual speakers by BoomSound Power on the front have taken a backseat.
The software domain of the device is run by Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box with HTC s Sense UI on top of it. The Sense 8 update is soon going to be available for the user interface. The hardware specifications include Qualcomm s Snapdragon 820 chipset powering the smartphone while the graphics are handled by the Adreno 530 GPU. The handset has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot allocation too.
The device packs in a 3,000 mAh battery that can keep the phone up and running for a day. The battery supports Quick Charge 3.0, that is, it can boost the phone from zero to 60 percent in 30 minutes. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, USB Type-C port, 3G, and 4G LTE.
