Nothing, a new-age brand, has finally introduced its maiden smartphone in India. Dubbed Nothing Phone 1, the latest model comes loaded with a host of unique features. One of the most amazing features of the device is the new Glyph interface that consists of 900 LEDs on the rear panel. Apart from this, the handset packs a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The Nothing Phone 1 256GB model is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+ processor and Adreno 642L GPU. It also packs a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The Nothing Phone 1 is available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handset also packs a 4,500mAh battery that comes with wireless charging support. The model also runs on the Android 12 operating system and features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Verdict
The Nothing Phone 1 256GB model is apt for those who want big storage. The phone comes with a unique design language, which is a rarity in the smartphone market. The Glyph interface offers some interesting features that make it stand out from the crowd. However, the brand only offers 33W fast charging, and no charger is available in the box. That said, the phone is still a unique proposition in this price segment.

The major USP of the device is the transparent back panel. The brand claims that the transparent rear panel is made with over 400 components. The front panel comes with a punch-hole design that houses a selfie camera. The phone also comes with a Glyph interface that uses 900 LEDs to form unique lighting patterns on the back panel. The Nothing Phone 1 256GB model equips a 6.55-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The phone comes with an AMOLED display panel that supports HDR10+.  It also features a 120Hz screen refresh, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Nothing Phone 1 packs an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature.

The phone packs dual rear cameras with a combination of a 50MP primary sensor with Sony IMX766 and OIS support and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens that also doubles as a 4cm macro shooter. The phone also comes equipped with a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The Nothing Phone 1 runs on the latest Android 12 operating system and comes with a newly-introduced Nothing OS.
