The Realme 9 8GB RAM model can be considered an option for those who are looking for a 4G smartphone. The major highlight of the device is the 108MP rear camera that delivers some stunning results in daylight, while the 6.4-inch AMOLED display offers an enhanced viewing experience. That said, the company has also cut some corners for this device. The device lacks a stereo speaker setup, which could have been a cherry on top.

Design and Display
The Realme 9 8GB RAM comes with a simple and minimalistic design language. The rear panel comes with a polycarbonate body with a gradient finish, while the front panel comes with a punch-hole display that houses a selfie shooter. The Realme 9 8GB RAM model is available in  Sunburst Gold, Stargaze White and Meteor Black colours. The handset is loaded with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 84.21 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The phone also comes with a 90Hz screen refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. You also get up to 1,000nits peak brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels.

The Realme 9 8GB RAM is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor that is made using a 6nm fabrication process. The octa-core chipset is clocked at 2.4GHz and packs an Adreno 610 GPU to handle graphics-intensive tasks. The phone also features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The internal memory is expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card. The Realme 9 8GB RAM runs on Android 12 with the latest version of Realme UI running on top of it. 
Camera and Security
For optics, the Realme 9 8GB RAM features a triple-camera setup at the rear. The phone comes with a 108MP sensor with f/1.75 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For the front, the company has added a 16MP shooter with an f/2.45 aperture for selfies and video calling.
