The new smartphone in the M-series comes with several improvements over the Galaxy M11 launched last year. The notable feature is the 90Hz refresh rate display, making it the first in the M-series with such a high-screen refresh rate. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch TFT display bearing a V-shaped notch at the center of the display, housing the selfie camera. The smartphone has a quad-camera setup on the rear featuring a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The selfie lovers can thrive on the 8MP camera at the front. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. For power backup, the phone features a beefy 6000mAh battery. It supports 15W fast-charging for a quick refill of the battery. The phone comes with a decent enough storage capacity of 128GB to store the files and data of the users. Samsung Galaxy M12 128GB is the latest budget offering from the brand with an impressive specs sheet. The phone sports a 90Hz AMOLED display, 128GB internal memory that is expandable up to 1TB. For optics, there are quad-rear cameras (48MP+5MP+2MP+2MP) and an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone is powered by the company s Exynos 8 Octa 850 chipset paired with 6GB RAM. As for the cons, the device does not feature any screen protection, and it is difficult to operate with a single hand for long hours owing to its bulky nature (221grams).
