The Redmi Note 12 6GB RAM variant offers a premium design language. The company has added a boxy design and you get a glossy finish on the rear panel. The front panel offers a punch-hole cutout, which is a good thing. The Redmi Note 12 is available in Frosted Green, Mystique Blue, and Matte Black colour options. The phone measures 165.88 x 76.21 x 7.98mm and weighs 188 grams. The phone packs a large 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display and offers a 20:9 aspect ratio. The model features a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels along with 1,200 nits of brightness. The Redmi Note 12 features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and features a 395ppi pixel density. It also packs a 120Hz screen refresh rate. In terms of security, you get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature.

The Redmi Note 12 6GB RAM option is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor. The 6nm chipset offers two cores of Cortex A78, and six cores of Cortex A55 clocked up to 2GHz. The model also features Adreno 619 GPU to handle the graphics. The phone features 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The internal memory can be further expanded up to 1TB using a hybrid microSD card slot. In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 12 features a triple-camera setup. The Note 12 5G has a 48MP main camera sensor on the back. The entry-level 5G Note smartphone also comes with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor.
