Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 64GB Details

Introduction
The Redmi series from Xiaomi aims at providing the customers with smartphone devices that have mid-range specifications at an entry-level price range. Most of the smartphone users in India have a budget of around Rs.10,000 for their future smartphone device, and Xiaomi had previously hit the right vein by launching the Redmi Note 3 at Rs. 9,999 in the year 2016. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was a big hit for the company in India as it launched the device with powerful hardware at a very attractive price. However, the company has now launched the Xiaomi Note 4 in India with an updated hardware and design. The device is available in Champagne Gold, Dark Grey, & Matt Black. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a fingerprint sensor on the back to unlock the device quickly; it also has an in-built app locker that provides the users with better privacy over their data.
Display & Camera
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 carries the same 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display from its predecessor. The display can go up to a maximum of 450 nits of brightness, providing the user with better visibility under direct sunlight. It is worth mentioning that the Xiaomi has included a Reading Mode that helps the user to read the content on the display comfortably during low-light conditions. The Reading Mode helps one’s eyes by filtering out the blue light from the display.  The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. The primary camera now has lesser resolution than its predecessor but Xiaomi says that the overall image quality has been improved. The 13-megapixel primary camera comes with phase-detection autofocus, and a dual-tone LED flash. The current 5MP secondary camera is nothing to complain about. However, we expected the device to feature the selfie camera with an increased resolution. The primary, as well as the secondary camera, can record Full HD videos, while the primary camera is also capable of recording slow-motion videos.
Software & Performance
The mobile phones experts had high hopes that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will come pre-loaded with the Android 7.0 Nougat. Sadly, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 disappoints in this criteria as it comes pre-loaded with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with the Xiaomi’s MIUI 8. However, the device is expected to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update soon. We at MySmartPrice will provide you with the latest firmware news for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 on our blog Gear by MySmartPrice, so please head to our blog for the latest news in the world of gadgets and electronics. The updated hardware on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 includes the Snapdragon 625 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. As the Snapdragon 625 is based on 14nm FinFET technology, it will consume less power than the Snapdragon 650 chipset that was present in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi says that the device will provide 25% more battery life compared to its predecessor. Even though the device comes with ample of storage, it also has a microSD card slot for users with larger storage requirement.
Battery & Connectivity
We at Gear by MySmartPrice reviewed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 back in 2016 and were amazed by the device’s battery performance; it lasted over 2 days even under heavy usage, providing above 8 hours of screen-on time. Now, with the launch for Redmi Note 4, we hope the new device to perform even better. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a non-removable 4,100 mAh battery. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is capable of accommodating two SIM cards at once, or one SIM card and a microSD card. That means you can’t enjoy the dual-SIM connectivity if you want to use the microSD card. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 supports dual-band Wi-Fi ac/a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS (with A-GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou), IR port, microUSB 2.0 port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
