ASUS Zenfone 4 A450CG

Asus which launched a range of Zenfone smartphones recently unveiled the Zenfone 4 A450CG which a 4.5-inch version of Zenfone 4. The device priced at Rs 6,999 is available exclusively on Flipkart.

The new variant of Zenfone 4 runs 4.4 KitKat operating system and features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The Zenfone 4 A450CG has FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) screen resolution which produces an effective pixel density of 218 PPI. In addition the 4.5-inch screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor and ships with PowerVR GPU. In terms of memory, the CPU is supported by 1 GB RAM which is paired by 8 GB of internal storage. The storage capacity of the device can further be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card slot present on the device. The device is available in five different colour variants namely Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red, Sky Blue and Solar Yellow.

In the imaging department, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash which is capable of capturing high quality images and record high definition videos. The device also has a VGA secondary camera but too much should not be expected from it as it acts more of a show piece than a camera. The smartphone supports multiple multimedia file formats which include MP3, MP4, WAV, etc. files. The connectivity package includes 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. The device is fuelled by a Li-Po 1750 mAh battery which is promising enough to provide up to 13h of talk time.
