Coolpad Legacy 5G Details

Introduction
Coolpad is known for offering affordable smartphones. The brand, however, has surprised everyone by launching a mid-range, 5G-enabled smartphone, the Coolpad Legacy 5G. This new smartphone from Coolpad is not only the brand’s costliest smartphone but it is also the cheapest 5G-equipped smartphone at the time of its launch.
Display
The Coolpad Legacy 5G has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution, giving the screen a pixel density of 395 PPI. The display has a v-shaped notch at the top for the front-facing camera and the screen also features HDR10 support.
Camera
The Coolpad Legacy 5G has a dual-camera setup at the rear comprising of a 48MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. While the 8MP ultrawide camera can record only Full HD videos, the 48MP primary camera can record 4K videos. The selfie camera is a 16MP unit that is capable of recording Full HD videos at 30 frames per second.
Performance
The Coolpad Legacy 5G is the first smartphone from the brand to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. This SoC is based on 7nm fabrication process and it features eight Kryo 475 CPU cores and Adreno 620 GPU. Coolpad offers Legacy 5G in only one memory configuration and it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone runs on the Android 10 operating system which has brand’s custom UI and features on top.
Battery and connectivity
The Coolpad Legacy 5G packs a 4000mAh battery and it supports 18W fast charging through Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 operating system. The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM option, 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
