Gionee Elife E8

The Gionee Elife E8 is the company s high-end flagship phone which features a 6-inch AMOLED display sporting Quad-HD (1440 2560 pixels) resolution and primarily a smartphone meant of complete entertainment. On the software front, Gionee has pre-loaded it with its new Amigo 3.0 UI which is based on the Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Elife E8 is the directly successor of the Elife E7 phablet and takes the level higher by a notch. Gionee has utilised a 6.0-inch AMOLED display with 2560x1440 pixels resolution to deliver a crisp and crystal clear image quality as well as vibrant colours.

The massive display of the Elife E8 is powered by an octa-core 2.0 GHz MediaTek MT6795 mobile chipset and armed with 3GB of RAM. The overall system and gaming is powered with the with PowerVT Rogue G6200 GPU for graphics support. All modern games would run easily and look fantastic on the gorgeous display.

The Elife E8 will offer 64GB on-board storage with memory card slot to hold up to 128GB microSD card. To take the imaging a step further from E7, the Elife E8 has a 24-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash which can interpolate up to 100MP resolution images and also shoot 4K videos. Besides that, the primary camera will also feature lossless zoom and can also record Ultra HD quality videos.

Under the primary camera is a fingerprint sensor usable for secured access to the phone. In the front is a 8MP camera with wide angle lens to capture selfies and host HD video calls.

The Elife E8 will offer high-speed mobile data connectivity with the 4G LTE network support and faster mobile web as well as downloads with Wi-Fi. It also packs Bluetooth 4.1 for transferring files or stay connected to the accessories.

Measuring 9.6 mm thick, Elife E8 weighs 207 grams including the non-removable 3,500 mAh battery. Gionee is pitting Elife E8 as one of its flagship smartphones, heavily focused on imaging and entertainment.
