HTC Desire 628

The HTC Desire 628 is one of the better devices in its price range with its powerful core specs, large storage space, and attractive dual-tone exteriors. The phone falls under the mid-range category of under Rs 20000.

The Desire 628 sports a 5.0-inch touchscreen IPS LCD HD display that provides good viewing angles. Its 720p resolution is good for watching HD videos, viewing images and other forms of media. The wide screen combined with the 294 PPI pixel density allows users to use the phone as an e-reader that displays text with sharpness.

The phone’s dimensions measure 8.19 mm thick and 142 grams heavy resulting in a solid feel in the hand when using the phone. The phone is cased in a plastic exterior available in two colors - gray and white. The volume and power buttons are on the right, the microUSB port on the bottom edge, while the two SIM slots and microSD card slot are on the left.

The smartphone runs HTC’s own Sense 7 UI on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, which facilitates Google Now voice command. The secondary camera is a 5-megapixel one with a f/2.4 aperture that might be better used in well-lit conditions. The selfie camera shoots videos at 2-megapixels.
