HTC One M8 Eye

The HTC One M8 Eye is a variant of the flagship device from HTC, the HTC One M8. One of the primary upgrade is the dual 13 MP camera which sit at the back of the smartphone, a hearty upgrade from the 4 MP dual camera on the HTC One M8.

The device retains most of the other specs and comes in a similar form factor, sporting the original premium aluminium build along with the curved back. The display is the same, an LCD3 super capacitive 5-inch touchscreen display having a full HD (1920 1080 pixels) resolution. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to ensure longevity of the screen even through rigorous use.

The device features dual 13-megapixel camera on the rear with a dual-tone dual LED flash that makes clicking photos in the dark a delight. Other camera features of the device include panorama, geo-tagging, full-HD video recording, face/smile detection, simultaneous image and video capturing capability, HDR, etc. The handset has a secondary 5-megapixel camera on the front for video calling and snapping selfies. The front facing camera on the device is capable of recording full HD videos too.

The phone comes with a 2600 mAh battery which should keep the device running for a moderately long time. On board, the phone offers 16 GB internal storage space which can further be expanded up to 128 GB via an external microSD card.

The HTC One M8 Eye is designed to stay connected at all times and comes with 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and infrared sensors. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset which has a processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. The powerful processor is paired with 2GB RAM to deliver stunning performance. The device can multi-task even through intensive games with ease thanks to the high-end specs.
