Honor View 30 Pro

Honor is Huawei s sub-brand that has launched some very interesting smartphones in India in the last few years with a focus on good processing power and excellent cameras. The brand has now revealed the Honor View 30 Pro or V30 Pro as it is known in China. The smartphone has 5G capabilities and has dual-SIM capabilities. The display is a 6.57-inch 1080 x 2400 LCD screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.46 percent. A Kirin 990 chipset handles all the processing for the Honor View 30 Pro and you also get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone sports a triple camera setup on the back with a 40MP primary shooter, an 8MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide lens. On the front, there is a 32MP + 8MP dual-camera setup with the secondary camera having an ultrawide viewing angle, making this a very appealing option for photography enthusiasts. And being an Honor phone, the battery is a highlight as it has a capacity of 4100mAh and it supports 40W fast charging and 27W wireless charging as well. The rear camera setup looks unique as it has a rectangular layout and sits nicely on the beautiful glass back sitting on a metal frame. The fingerprint reader is mounted on the side. The 6.57-inch LCD screen has a dual-camera punch hole and offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a pixel density of 400 ppi.
Kirin 990 Chipset, 5G Connectivity, Dual Camera
Under the hood, the Honor View 30 Pro features the Kirin 990 chipset, which has a 5G modem built-in. The onboard GPU is a Mali-G76 MP16 unit that takes care of all graphics processing. The chipset is incredibly powerful and competes with the best from Apple and Qualcomm. You get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space which is great news if you like to play games on your phone. The phone runs Magic UI 3 and is currently offering Android 10. The rear camera setup is a 40MP + 8MP + 12MP config with the 8MP being a telephoto lens and the 12MP lens taking ultrawide shots. You get a dual-cam setup on the front as well with a 32MP primary lens and an 8MP wide lens. The rear camera lets you shoot 4K videos while the front camera is limited to 1080p videos.
4100mAh Battery, 40W Fast Charging, Connectivity Options
The battery on the Honor View 30 Pro has a capacity of 4100mAh which is okay if you re an intense user. But the good news is the 40W charging speed, which means you can refill the battery in a short duration. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and A-GPS. The Honor View 30 Pro has a USB Type-C port but unfortunately, no 3.5mm port for earphones.
