Huawei Mate 30 Lite

The Mate 30 Lite is a cut-down version of the Mate 30, and it misses out on an AMOLED screen. However, the phone still comes with a bezel-less screen in the form of a 6.4-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. To make the phone look as attractive as its specs list, the Mate 30 Lite has a plastic shell and glass panels at the front and the rear, complete with gradient color pattern.

The Huawei Mate 30 Lite has a single camera on the front, but on the rear, the mid-range phone has a quad-camera setup. There s a 24MP primary sensor that s combined with an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. The main camera features PDAF and 4K 30fps video recording. At the front, the Mate 30 Lite has a 32MP selfie camera on the front and it can do 1080p 30fps video recording.

To run EMUI 10 software, which is based on Android 10, the Huawei Mate 30 Lite uses the newly launched Kirin 810 processing chipset, 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage space. The phone s chipset is built using a 7nm process and uses two ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores, six ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores, and Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. There s a microSD card slot for further storage space expansion.

The Mate 30 Lite, offers high-capacity battery for longer battery life. The phone comes powered by a 4000mAh battery that s not removable by a user. However, the phone does offer fast battery charging technology which uses 22.5W of power using the bundled USB-C charger. The phone should be able to last a whole day even with relative heavier usage scenario. The phone s connectivity features include dual-SIM card slot with dual-4G LTE and dual-VoLTE. There s GNSS, Wi-Fi b/g/n/5, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone port.
