Huawei Mate X

The Mate X is not your run-of-the-mill smartphone. Owing to its unique Falcon Wing hinge, the device can easily switch between smartphone and tablet mode. The Mate X also has a peculiar bar handle for better handling. The Mate X sports an 8-inch flexible OLED screen with 2480 x 2200 pixels. When folded, you get access to a 6.6-inch screen on the front and 6.3-inch panel on the rear.

This foldable gadget is powered by Huawei's latest Kirin 980 chipset based on 7 nm fabrication tech. The chip comprises of four Cortex A76 and four Cortex A55 cores. Gaming is handled by Mali-G76MP10 GPU. The phone comes with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB internal storage. You can expand it further via an NM card. For the shutterbugs, Huawei offers a Leica powered camera assembly at the back. The setup comprises of a 40 MP (wide-angle lens) + 16 MP (ultra-wide-angle lens) + 8 MP (telephoto) sensors.

Huawei's foldable phone gets its juice from a 3,500 mAh battery. Say goodbye to long charging times as this gadget ships with a 55W power adaptor. The Huawei Mate X is a 5G device, which also works with existing 4G VoLTE networks. Other connectivity features include dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 LE, dual band GPS, and NFC (Near Field Communication).
