The Huawei P20 Plus can be considered as the bigger brother of the Huawei P20 but only in terms of its screen size. While rest of the features remain unaltered, the Huawei P20 Plus ships with a bigger display. The smartphone also features the facial recognition technology which was found in the Apple iPhone X which means you can simply unlock the device just by looking at the screen.
The Huawei P20 Plus boasts a 6.01-inch Full HD+ display as opposed to the 5.7-inch screen on the P20. The screen on the smartphone has almost no bezels which make the Huawei P20 Plus ideal for watching videos and playing games. The Huawei P20 Plus is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset that offers a smooth and lag-free smartphone experience. Paired with massive 8GB of RAM, the device can be used for seamless multitasking and playing games. The chipset also supports certain AI related features like photo-based translations and a few smart tips like suggesting to enable Eye Comfort mode when reading in a dark environment.
One of the most impressive features of the smartphone is its imaging capability. The device ships with three 40-megapixel sensors at the back which along with a dual-tone LED flash can capture stunning images and videos even in dark conditions. On the software front, the Huawei P20 Plus runs Android 8.0 Oreo wrapped under the proprietary EMUI on top.
