Huawei Y7 Pro (2019)

The Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) comes as the successor to the Huawei Y7 Pro (2018). As compared to its predecessor, the Y7 Pro (2019) brings with it a more powerful processor, a higher resolution front-facing camera, a larger battery, and a screen with lesser bezels.

The Huawei Y7 Pro features a 6.26-inch display. The display uses LCD technology, and it has an HD+ resolution. The Huawei P7 Pro in spite of being a budget smartphone features a nearly bezel-less display with a waterdrop notch in it. Huawei has not provided any information on the display protection, which lets us believe that there is no premium protection on display such as a Gorilla Glass. Coming to the imaging, the Huawei Y7 Pro has a dual-camera setup on the back that includes one 13MP sensor and one 2MP sensor. As you might expect the 13MP camera is the main camera unit that will be used for taking photos and recording videos, whereas, the 2MP camera is a depth-sensor for bokeh images. At the front, the Y7 Pro features a 16MP camera.

The Huawei Y7 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, which has an octa-core processor and Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone comes in only one variant, and it has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The is also a microSD card slot on offer, as you might expect. However, there is no dedicated slot for microSD card; you will have to sacrifice second SIM card slot to use the microSD card. On the software side, the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) comes with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. As with any other Huawei smartphone, the Y7 Pro (2019) has EMUI customization over the stock Android UI too.

The Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) is a big jump from its predecessor in terms of battery capacity. While the Y7 Pro (2018) had a 3000mAh battery, the Y7 Pro (2019) comes with a 4000mAh battery. The battery can be charged at a rate of 10W. You will, however, have to use microUSB port for charging; there is no USB Type-C port.
