Intex Aqua Ace II

The Intex Aqua Ace II is an entry-level smartphone priced below Rs. 10,000, interesting specs including 3GB RAM and a strong battery.

The 5.0-inch IPS LCD display is capable of displaying bright, contrasting colors. Visibility outdoors is guaranteed with an IPS LCD display. The resolution is 720 x 1280 and pixel density is 294 PPI, meaning the display shows High Definition videos. Dimensions of the phone are at a sleek 145.3 x 72 x 8.65 mm, while it weighs a light 149 grams. The reverse panel on the phone is available only in white.

The phone is equipped with a MediaTek MT6735 chipset that cradles a 1.3GHz Cortex-A53 four-core processor and 3GB of RAM that does an excellent job of handling everyday mobile tasks and multitasking. However, demanding/complex apps tend to slow down with this processor. Intex has vested the phone with 16GB of storage for the OS, necessary apps and for users to store personal data. If that’s not enough, there’s 32GB of SD card storage.

The 8-megapixel primary camera takes simple but clear images with its f/2.4 aperture, however, ample light makes a big difference in picture quality. The dual-LED flash on this cam should suffice for night time/low-light photography. The 5-megapixel secondary camera takes acceptably clear pictures with its f/2.0 aperture. Both cameras are capable of video recording. The battery on the phone is 3,000mAh strong that lasts less than a day.

The phone has space for two SIM cards, one of which can support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB 2.0 and of course, Bluetooth to sync with other devices. Counterparts of the phone include the Honor Holly 2 Plus, Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus and the InFocus Bingo 50 smartphones.
