LG Tribute Empire

The LG Tribute Empire features a simple design with a plastic body. Like most budget phones, it has thick bezels around the screen. Its screen-to-body ratio is slightly over 66 percent. On the back, you get a fingerprint sensor. The device sports a 5-inch HD screen with 1280 x 720 resolution. The display has 16:9 ratio and pixel density of 294 ppi. It is an IPS (In Plane Switching) panel, so you can expect rich colors and wide viewing angles.

LG s entry-level phone is powered by Taiwanese company MediaTek s MT6750 chipset. Based on 28 nm fabrication process, this SoC (System on Chip) comprises of eight Cortex A53 threads. To handle casual games, it is equipped with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. Multitasking is taken care of by 2 GB of RAM. The device comes with 16 GB internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports up to 32 GB additional storage. The Tribute Empire sports an 8 MP camera with an LED flash to keep it company. It offers HDR, burst shot, and cheese (smile) shutter features. For selfies, LG has thrown-in a 5 MP front-facing snapper.

The handset packs-in a 2500 mAh battery. LG claims that it is enough to clock in 15 hours of talk time. Unlike most modern phones, the Tribute Empire's battery is user accessible. Moving on to the connectivity front, you get 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and A-GPS (Assisted GPS). On the software side of things, the Tribute Empire ships with Android 8.1 Oreo with LG's customization on top.
