Lava Z92

The Lava Z92 uses MediaTek s entry-level Helio A22 chipset. This SoC is also known as the MediaTek MT6762M and happens to house a 64-bit quad-core processor with four Cortex A-53 cores doing the number crunching. While the SoC supports up to 6GB of RAM, the Lava Z92 only comes with 3GB of RAM primarily to keep the cost down. The chipset also houses the PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics. The phone also gets an LTE modem that promises decent speeds on 4G VoLTE networks. With 32GB of onboard storage, the phone matches its peers when it comes to storage space. Users also get the option to add a microSD card to augment the memory further.

The Lava Z92 boasts of a fairly large 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels (295 PPI). The display is also in the taller 18:9 aspect ratio. For security, the Lava Z92 also gets a biometric lock/unlock option thanks to the inbuilt fingerprint scanner. The phone gets several connectivity features including 4G VoLTE, micro USB, WLAN, Bluetooth, and GPS.

The Lava Z92 gets a single camera set up at the front and the rear. The primary rear camera uses a 13-megapixel sensor while the rear camera is a 5-megapixel unit for basic selfies and video calling. On the software side of things, the Lava Z92 runs a near stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset is dual SIM ready and also gets an FM Radio.
