LeEco Le 1s

The LeEco Le 1s is a 5.5-inch smartphone that the Chinese company is releasing. This fourth release under the LeEco series has an IPS (In-plan Switching) LCD display of 1080p. This type of display technology provides good viewing angles. The phone's build is an all-metal one with a thickness of 7.5 mm. The handset weighs 169 grams, which is slightly on the heavier end.

On the photography front, the phone sports a 13-megapixel ISOCELL camera with single LED flash which helps in low-light photography. The high-quality image sensor ISOCELL is the same that has been used in the Samsung Galaxy S5. This premium sensor that is being used improves the image quality by controlling the amount of light being absorbed by the pixels. The company has also thrown in a 5-megapixel front snapper with an 85-degree wide angle, for selfies.

The smartphone is run by Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It has the EUI skin on top of it. On the hardware front, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio X10 chipset. It comprises of an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz. The LeEco Le 1s has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory that cannot be expanded, as there is no memory slot allotment.

The handset packs in a 3,000 mAh Li-Po battery that can keep the phone up and running for a day. The fast charging feature is capable of pushing the phone to 3.5 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charging.

There is a fingerprint scanner that is present on the rear that allows you to unlock the phone from any angle within 0.15 seconds with 99.3% accuracy as claimed by the company. It is also said to have a memory of 5 fingerprints. The phone also sports the world's first mirror-surfaced fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPRS-EDGE, GPS, Type-C USB, and 4G LTE.
