Lenovo Phab 2 Pro

The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro has a metal unibody design. As the device houses a gigantic display and a large battery, it measures 179.8 x 88.6 x 10.7 mm and weighs a hefty 259 grams. The device feels a bit uncomfortable in hand due to its heavy weight and large dimensions. The edge-to-edge display makes the device look very sleek and futuristic.

The underpinnings of the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro includes a very powerful Snapdragon 652 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The Snapdragon 652 chipset has an octa-core CPU configuration, and an Adreno 510 GPU. The internal memory is expandable up to 256GB. To power this hardware, Lenovo has equipped the device with a 4,050 mAh Li-Ion battery, and it supports fast charging technology known as Quick Charge. The device has a fingerprint reader mounted on the back for fast and easy unlocking of the device with the fingerprint.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS customised by Lenovo. The device also supports Google’s Project Tango. The Project Tango is an augmented reality platform. It uses sensors to detect the device’s position to provide better augmented reality experience. The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro has a Dolby Atmos audio enhancement for better sound while watching videos.  The device stays connected with the help of Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, dual-SIM 4G LTE, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB v2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The USP of the device is its large 6.4-inch QHD IPS LCD display. The QHD (2560x1440) resolution ensures that the text remains sharp even on a screen size this large. The large screen size will provide a better multimedia experience to the users. The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro has a very capable camera hardware. The primary camera has a resolution of 16-megapixel; it is equipped with phase-detection autofocus, a depth sensor, and  motion detecting sensors as well. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 8-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture.
