Micromax A78

Another cheap device from the Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax, in the form of A78. The device comes with very basic and low-end hardware. The 10.9 mm thick device features a QWERTY keypad.

A 3.5-inch TFT capacitive display on the front to view messages, play games, etc. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek MT6573 Cortex-A9 processor which keeps the performance stable. It is available in brown colour.

For those who love to click, the Micromax A78 sports a 3.2-megapixel back shooter that can capture decent images and record videos. Also at the front is a VGA camera. There is a horde of connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port to transfer files effortlessly.

There is an option to upgrade the onboard storage up to 32GB to store all that you want starting from your personal files to music, videos, etc. The device runs an out-dated version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread which restricts users from the latest Android experience.

One can also enjoy using two networks at the same time as the device has room for two SIM cards. At the rear is a Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery which is expected to support talk time up to 4 hours. For additional recreation one can take a break from playing games and listen to the in-built FM Radio which has support for all major frequencies.
