Micromax Canvas 6

The Micromax Canvas 6 is the company's first micromax canvas device to come with a fingerprint scanner. The smartphone features an unibody metal design with thick edges which offers better grip but makes the device heavy. The smooth textured back owing to the metal makes the device slippery. At its heart, the Canvas 6 is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 chipset that is clocked at 2GHz. Although there is 3GB of RAM, the device tends to lag at times but surprisingly the device does not overheat. 

The Micromax Canvas 6 is armed with a 13-megapixel rear shooter that is paired with Phase Detection Autofocus. Outdoor images under bright light look crisp and noise free. During the night or in dull light conditions, there is an LED flash to bail you out. Using the 8-megapixel front-facing camera, users can expect good selfies. 
The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution. Viewing angles are good and there are no major visibility issues under sunlight.

In the software department, the smartphone runs a close-to-stock version of Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. For storing music, videos, images, and apps there is 32GB of internal storage space which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 64GB. 

The non-removable Li-Ion 3,000 mAh battery chucks out an average battery life that lasts close to an entire day. Connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
