Motorola Moto G7 Power

Usually, each new generation of G series smartphones from Motorola comes in three variants, the regular G, the higher screen-sized G Plus, and the affordable G Play. However, with the launch of seventh generation Moto G series smartphones, Motorola has added a new variant to its G series lineup, the G Power. The Moto G7 Power is based on Moto One Power that launched in 2018. In case you did not know, the Moto One Power was a big hit for the company. The Moto One Power sold in high numbers mainly because of its massive 5000mAh battery and the powerful Snapdragon 636 processor. Motorola has used the same formula for the G7 Power; it has an enormous 5000mAh battery too. Let us have a look at what this smartphone has to offer.

The Moto G7 Power has a 6.2-inch display. The display has a nearly bezel-less design with a notch. The screen features Full HD+ resolution giving it a pixel density of 403PPI. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass protection over the display to protect it from scratches and damages.

The Moto G7 Power features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor. This processor is an improved variant of the Snapdragon 626. The smartphone comes in three variants. The base variant has 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. The middle variant has 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. The top of the line variant has 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. There is also a dedicated microSD card to expand the storage. The smartphone has Android 9 Pie operating system. As you might have guessed, the OS has stock UI.

The Moto G7 Power has a 16MP + 5MP dual-camera at the rear. This is the same camera setup as that of the Moto One Power. Among the two cameras at the back, the 16MP camera is the one that takes photos and records video, while the 5MP camera is is a depth-sensor. The rear camera of the Moto G7 Power can record 4K videos. The smartphone has a 13MP front-facing camera.

The USP of the Moto G7 Power is its massive 5000mAh battery. The Moto One Power had a 5000mAh battery too, and in our tests, the Moto One Power gave us two days of battery backup under heavy usage. We expect the Moto G7 Power to have a similar battery backup as that of the Moto One Power. The Moto G7 Power also has 15W Turbo Charge fast charging.
