OPPO K5

Like most new smartphones, the Oppo K5 features a gradient back. It is made of plastic but reflects light like glass. Moving onto the front, the phone has impressively thin bezels. The biggest highlight, however, is the Oppo K5's motorized pop-up camera. Such an arrangement for a pop-up camera gives us a full-screen design in the mid-range price segment. In terms of hues, you get to choose between blue and white.

The phone sports a 6.4-inch OLED display. With the resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, the screen offers the pixel density of over 400 ppi. Since it is an OLED panel, you get vibrant colors and impressive contrast. Unlike LCD panels, the OLED screens don't require a backlight. As a result, the display produces proper blacks. Oppo has integrated a fingerprint sensor into the display. To protect it against the scratches, the display has a layer of Gorilla Glass 5.

At the heart of the Oppo K5 is the Snapdragon 730G chip. This 8 nm SoC (System on Chip) comprises of two Kryo 470 Gold cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six power-efficient Kryo 470 Silver running at 1.8 GHz. For gaming, it relies on the Adreno 618 GPU. It is powerful enough to run PUBG mobile on high settings. The handset has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage. On the software front, you get the latest iteration of ColorOS based on Android 9 Pie.

For the shutterbugs, the Oppo K5 offers a quad-camera setup on the back. It has a 64 MP primary sensor, 8 MP wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 2 MP macro lens. It can record 4k videos at 30 fps. To please the selfie addicts, there's also a 32 MP camera on the front.

The Oppo K5 draws power from a 4,000 mAh battery. To save you slow charging times, the handset is equipped with the Chinese company's 30 W fast charging. The phone has a USB Type-C port and a dedicated 3.5 mm headphone jack. It is a 4G VoLTE handset with support for dual SIM cards. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS (network assisted).
