OnePlus X

The OnePlus X is a mid-range Android based smartphone from the stables of the Chinese smartphone giant. The device has improved appearance than its predecessors and comes with a very premium finish.

The smartphone ships with the Oxygen OS based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and comes with Coning Gorilla Glass protection on top to ensure device longevity. The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display having a full HD (1920x1080 pixels) screen resolution. Thanks to the relatively small size of the screen, the display boasts of an incredible pixel density of 441 PPI.

Underneath the hood, the smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 801 chipset. The chipset comes with a quad-core CPU having a clockspeed of 2.3 GHz. The processing capacity of the smartphone is complemented by 3 GB of RAM which ensures that the device can render a butter smooth user interface. Additional memory on the device is available in the form of 16 GB of internal storage. The storage is ample for most media needs, though the device does feature a microSD card slot for further memory expansion up to 128 GB.

The device comes with a 13-megapixel primary shooter that is equipped with autofocus feature along with a dual-LED flash which makes images appear more natural. In addition, the smartphone also flaunts a 8-megapixel selfie camera which is equipped with a wide-angle lens to capture beautiful selfies.

The device is powered by a 2,525 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery which can keep it ticking throughout the day. The smartphone is available in only two colour options, Onyx and ceramic. The device features the usual array of connectivity options such as GLONASS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1 and also an NFC receiver.
