The Oppo F1 comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 chipset which is clocked at 1.7 GHz. There is 3GB of RAM. There is 16GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. However, the smartphone has a hybrid SIM slot which means that you can either use a SIM card or choose to extend the storage.

The device is camera-centric and it comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera paired with an LED flash which can record Full HD videos. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera. In addition, the device is also paired with software features such as Beautify 3.0, eight live color filters, and an option to use the screen as a flashlight.

The mid-range smartphone boasts a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection that prevents it from scratches. In terms of design, the Oppo F1 looks stylish as it comes with a metal back. The Oppo F1 runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with the proprietary Color OS 2.1 on top.

The smartphone has 4G LTE support along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. To keep the device afloat, it is backed up by a 2,500 mAh battery. The device is 7.25 mm thick and it comes in the Gold colour variant.
