Oppo R15 Pro

Oppo debuted its R-series of smartphones in India with the R17 Pro in December of 2018. The R15 Pro is a relatively more affordable smartphone part of this lineup. The construction of this smartphone boasts a sense of class thanks to the use of a ceramic rear panel. The front of the phone houses a 6.28-inch AMOLED that offers a Full HD+ resolution with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Despite a notch at the top, the phone is able to achieve an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. Furthermore, the entire unit is protected against moisture and dust thanks to its IP67 rating.

The performance capabilities of the Oppo R15 Pro is admittedly mid-range. The phone ships with a Snapdragon 660 SoC which has been paired with 6GB of RAM. 128GB of onboard storage should be sufficient for pretty much all type of users. Additionally, 256GB of storage can be further added with the use of a microSD card. As for software, the phone comes with Android 8.0 Oreo by default. Oppo does load its custom ColorOS 5.0 skin over this OS.

Photography on the Oppo R15 Pro is handled by a dual camera setup at the rear which is comprised of a 20MP primary sensor accompanied by a 16MP secondary sensor. This setup is capable of 4K video recording at 30fps. Turning the phone over reveals a 20MP selfie shooter housed within the front notch. As for the battery, a large 3430mAh cell is found on this smartphone. Although it still relies on the microUSB 2.0 standard for charging, Oppo has added support for VOOC Flash charge which claims 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charge.
