Oppo Reno

While the OPPO Reno isn t the company s first phone with a dual-camera setup, it is one of its first smartphones with a 48MP sensor. The OPPO Reno has 48MP primary camera sensor ( -inch) with an f/1.7 aperture, 0.8 m pixels, and phase-detection autofocus. The 48MP sensor is paired to a 5MP depth sensor which helps the phone in capturing images with background blur effect (also known as bokeh effect). The rear-facing camera also supports 4K video recording at 30fps. At the front, the OPPO Reno comes with a 16MP selfie camera with fixed-focus lens, F2.0 aperture, and Full HD 1080p video recording at 30fps.

The OPPO Reno features a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution (2340x1080 pixels) and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Its screen is completely bezel-less and doesn't have any notch at the top since the camera has a motorized pop-up mechanism. Since it is an AMOLED screen, OPPO has managed to include an in-display fingerprint reader. The OPPO Reno is available in four striking colors: Jet Black, Nebula Purple, Ocean Green, Pink Mist.

Qualcomm s higher mid-range processor, the Snapdragon 710, is used in the OPPO Reno. The phone is available in just one variant in India: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. There s no microSD card slot for storage expansion. It runs OPPO s Color OS 6, which is based on Android 9 Pie operating system. OPPO s new software is a lot cleaner and intuitive compared to previous versions of Color OS.

The OPPO Reno uses a 4000mAh battery that can be fast-charged using OPPO s VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology. VOOC Flash Charge technology uses up to 20W charger to rapidly charge a battery. The phone should easily last a complete day after its battery s single full charge. OPPO Reno s connectivity features include dual-frequency GPS, dual-SIM card slot (dual-4G LTE), Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port. There is another variant of the OPPO Reno with 5G connectivity, but it hasn't been launched in India.
