Panasonic Eluga Mark

In a market dominated by Chinese smartphones, the Japanese influence is also worth mentioning in India. And adding to the list is the new Panasonic Eluga Mark, the latest offering in the Eluga-series.

The Panasonic Eluga Mark is expected to eke out top-notch performance as it is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset. One can expect to stop worrying about any performance issues and concentrate on working on multiple apps at the same time courtesy 2GB of RAM. As far as storage is concerned, the Eluga Mark comes with 16GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded via a microSD card up to 32GB which promises enough space for your personal files along with all relevant applications.

The Panasonic Eluga Mark sports a 5.5-inch HD display that is bright and reproduces vibrant colours. The big screen is effective and is ideal for watching videos and playing games. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The Panasonic Eluga Mark also comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back, just below the rear camera that allows single touch access where users can configure up to eight different fingerprints at a single point of time.

The device comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera for clicking images and recording videos. For selfies and video calling the Eluga Mark ships with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. There are Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope that tag along with the device.

The device has dual-SIM slots and houses two micro-SIM cards that allow users to use two networks simultaneously. Other connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. It is fuelled by a Li-Ion 2,500 mAh battery and is available in royal gold and metallic grey colour options.
