Panasonic P85 NXT

The Panasonic P85 NXT is an entry-level handset that comes with the company's own Arbo Hub. Arbo Hub is an AI-powered digital library of apps that is tailor-made to suit a user's requirements. For security, the device ships with a fingerprint sensor at the back and is also bundled with the face-unlock feature. One of the key highlights of the smartphone is that it comes with an LED flash for both the front and rear cameras. Here you get an 8-megapixel camera at the back, whereas a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter is provided for taking self-portraits and video calling.

The Panasonic P85 NXT offers 16GB of internal storage space that can be expanded using a microSD card up to 128GB. Unlike most devices that feature a Hybrid SIM structure, the smartphone ships with a dedicated memory expansion slot. In terms of display, the smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass. The screen can withstand normal wear and tear as there is a coating of Corning's Gorilla Glass 1.

The device is armed with a quad-core Snapdragon 210 SoC which is coupled with 2GB of RAM to ensure smooth sailing. Although the chipset is not well optimised to handle heavy loads, the smartphone does well in handling basic day-to-day tasks. The Panasonic P85 NXT sips juice from a non-removable 4,000mAh battery which can easily survive for an entire day. However, the battery might take up to 2 hours or more to get refuelled once fully drained as there is no support for fast charging.

Like most devices, the P85 NXT ships with all the standard connectivity options. These options include 4G with VoLTE, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and a microUSB 2.0 port. On the software front, the device runs the Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system out of the box.
