Realme 5 Pro

The Realme 5 Pro comes as the successor to the Realme 3 Pro that was launched in April 2019.

The Realme 5 Pro carries over the display from its predecessor; it is a 6.3-inch IPS LCD unit with Full HD+ resolution. The display has a U-shaped notch at the top that houses the front-facing camera, and it comes protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The Realme 5 Pro has four rear cameras that s two more than what the Realme 3 Pro offered. The primary camera is a 48MP sensor, and it can record 4K videos. The second camera is an 8MP sensor with ultrawide viewing angle. The other two sensors have 2MP resolution one sensor to aid in capturing macro images, and the other to assist in capturing portrait images. The front-facing camera is the same 25MP unit that s in the Realme 3 Pro; it has an f/2.0 aperture and can record Full HD videos.

While the Realme 3 Pro had the Snapdragon 710 SoC, the Realme 5 Pro comes with a slightly better chipset, which is the Snapdragon 712. This chipset is made on 10nm fabrication process, and it features eight Kryo 360 CPU cores and Adreno 616 GPU. There are multiple memory configurations to choose from, and this particular variant of the Realme 5 Pro has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There s also a microSD card slot if you need to expand the storage. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie operating system with Color OS 6 customization.

The Realme 5 Pro features the same 4045mAh battery that the Realme 3 Pro had. It also features the same 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. However, this time around, Realme has equipped the device with USB Type-C port for enhanced convenience, compared to the microUSB port in the Realme 3 Pro. And speaking of connectivity, the Realme 5 Pro has dual-SIM with dual-4G and dual-VoLTE. There is dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack as well. In terms of security, the device has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
