Realme XT

The Realme XT is the world’s first smartphone that uses a 64MP camera sensor. It uses the recently announced Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 camera sensor which has a diagonal size of 1/1.7-inch and 0.8-micron pixels. The Realme XT is a quad-camera phone, which means that it has three other cameras on the rear apart from the 64MP primary sensor. There’s an 8MP camera with an ultrawide-angle lens, a 2MP sensor with a fixed macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone can record 4K 30fps videos using the rear-facing cameras. At the front, a 16MP selfie camera with F2.0 aperture and 1080p 30fps video recording is hidden inside the screen’s waterdrop-shaped notch.

The phone uses a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen from Samsung Display, and it has a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. There’s an optical fingerprint reader under the phone’s display, and it is a newer generation reader which translates to even faster fingerprint recognition. The phone uses a plastic chassis, but its front and rear are protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 panels which are curved towards the edges of the device. The phone’s rear has a gradient color finish and it is available in two colors: Blue and White.

The Realme XT runs Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0.1 software, and it will receive the Android 10 update in the future with Realme’s own OS version. The phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor, which is basically a faster-clocked version of the Snapdragon 710. It has two Kryo 360 Gold CPU cores that are clocked at 2.3GHz and six Kryo 360 Silver CPU cores that are clocked at 1.7GHz. There’s a Snapdragon 616 GPU. The chipset is paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. There is a microSD card slot that allows storage space expansion.

Similar to the Realme 3 Pro and the Realme 5 Pro, the Realme XT is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The phone comes bundled with a 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charger. The Realme XT is a dual-SIM phone with 4G LTE connectivity. Other features of the phone include GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0 (with A2DP, LE, SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX LL, and LDAC), a USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a dedicated 3.5mm headphone port.
