The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is the compact version of the Galaxy C7 Pro. However, the Galaxy C7 Pro is not available in India, the only Galaxy C series phone available currently in India is the Galaxy C9 Pro. The Galaxy C5 Pro measures 145.7 71.4 6.95mm and weighs 143g. The device is available in Rose Gold, Gold, and Arctic Blue.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is equipped with a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with Full HD resolution. Unfortunately, the display has no protection to it whatsoever. The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro has a 16-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera too on the C5 Pro is a 16-megapixel unit, but it does not feature an autofocus or an LED flash. Both the cameras on the Galaxy C5 Pro have an aperture of f/1.9, and they can record Full HD videos.

An octa-core Snapdragon 626 with Adreno 506 GPU is equipped on the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro. The Snapdragon 626 chipset has a slight frequency improvement over the Snapdragon 625 processor. The chipset is mated to an enormous 4GB of RAM. The internal storage too is equally massive at 64GB, and it comes with an option to expand up to 256GB. In spite of the device being launched in Android 7.0 Nougat era, the Galaxy C5 Pro comes with the outdated Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. The software is equipped with many data privacy features like Secure Folder, and Private Mode, where an user can hide the data with and access it by verifying the fingerprint or password.

The battery on the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is a 3,000 mAh non-removable unit with support for fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is equipped with an USB Type-C port instead of an microUSB port for better ease of use. The device also comes with NFC, Bluetooth v4.2, dual-band Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual-SIM 4G LTE with support for VoLTE.
