Infinity-O Display with In-Display Fingerprint Scanner
With the Samsung Galaxy S10 X, we finally have an edge to edge display on a smartphone that tackles the notch situation a bit differently. Samsung calls this the Infinity-O display as it uses an O shaped cut-out for the front camera. This is a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel that offers a Quad HD+ resolution. Furthermore, this is the first device from the South Korean brand to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. This entire package is wrapped in a premium glass-metal chassis which further resits the elements thanks to its IP68 rating. The only downside here is that the phone loses out on the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Flagship Performance and Triple Rear Camera Setup
Powering the Galaxy S10 is Samsung s latest Exynos 9820 chipset which is built on an 8nm architecture. This octa-core CPU has been paired with 8GB of RAM. Gaming on this phone is buttery smooth thanks to the provided Mali-G76 MP12 GPU. The move to an in-display fingerprint scanner provided more room to fit a triple camera setup at the rear. This setup is comprised of a primary 12MP lens with variable F1.5/2.4 aperture, a secondary 16MP wide-angle lens, and a 13MP telephoto lens. Also, you get a 12MP selfie camera housed in the O cut-out at the front. On another note, Samsung added a heart-rate monitor just beside this camera setup.
