Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition

Vivo is the official partner for the IPL cricket matches that are being conducted in India. To celebrate the ten years of IPL, Vivo has launched the V5 Plus IPL Edition smartphone that is the Vivo V5 Plus covered in matte black colour. The V5 Plus IPL Edition is made of metal, and it measures 152.6 x 74 x 7.3mm and weighs 158.6 grammes.

The Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition comes with the latest display protection in the market for the year 2017, the Gorilla Glass 5, on its 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display. The device has 73.8% screen-to-body ratio. The imaging department is where the things get interesting for the Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition; it comes with the dual (20MP + 8MP) camera on the front. The dual camera gives the selfies a bokeh/ background de-blur effect that makes the images much more mesmerising. On the back, the Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition has a 16MP camera along with phase-detection autofocus and LED flash.

The Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition sports the Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset that has proven to provide fantastic performance and battery life. Paired with the chipset is 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The home button on the front of the device doubles up as a fingerprint scanner for easy unlocking. The device also comes with standard sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor, and a compass.  On the software front, the Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition has Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under Funtouch OS 3.0 that eliminates the application drawer. The UI has many elements similar to the iOS 10.

The Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition supports fast battery charging for its 3,160 mAh non-removable Li-Ion unit.  For connectivity, the Vivo V5 Plus IPL Edition comes with microUSB v2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, dual-SIM 4G, VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS.
