Vivo Y51L

The Vivo Y51L is an entry-level smartphone that comes with regular features with the exception of a large amount of expandable storage space. The phone is priced below Rs. 10,000 in India.

The Y51L is 7.52 mm thick and weighs 157 grams. The phone has a plastic body with a metal frame and rounded corners. It comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a standard 540 x 960 pixel resolution, giving it a pixel density of 221 PPI, which puts it behind other phones available in the market. Nevertheless, the display offers good viewing angles and consumes less power. The phone has a soft-touch home, back, and open apps buttons but with no backlight. The speaker grilles and microUSB are at the bottom edge while the volume rockers and power button are on the right edge. 

The Vivo Y51L runs Android v5.0.2 Lollipop based on FunTouch v2.5 OS. The phone has a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC due to which it efficiently multitasks. Its 2GB RAM speeds up any activity the phone is employed with. Onboard storage is set at 16GB that can be used to store apps, while expandable storage is set at 128GB via microSD and can be used to store music, images, videos, etc.

The phone has a non-removable 2,350mAh battery that lasts a day with moderate use. The 8-megapixel primary camera takes satisfactory pictures under direct sunlight with detail and good color reproduction. The front camera is 5-megapixels that also takes satisfactory images. The camera app features HDR, Panorama and a watermark feature that allows users to type the text to appear in the image.

The Vivo Y51L is a dual-SIM device that supports two microSIMs. Connectivity features include WiFi, 3G and 4G LTE support, Bluetooth and GPS. Sensors include a proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and a gyroscope.
