Vivo Y95

The Vivo Y95 is a mid-ranger in Vivo's Y-series. The phone succeeds the Vivo Y83 smartphone with enhanced features and specifications. One of the highlights of the Vivo Y95 is its dual camera setup on the rear. The phone boasts 13MP+5MP dual lenses enabling depth-of-field for capturing DSLR-like images. The Bokeh mode blurs the background and shifts the focus on the subject. Vivo has integrated super-fast focusing speed in the cameras clubbed with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) technology for enhanced clarity.  There is also a Live Photo feature in the camera app that records a 1.5 seconds video with sound before the actual shot is captured. Users can later watch this video when they press and hold the clicked image. On the front, the Vivo Y95 settles for an 8MP selfie snapper with Beauty Mode. The front camera also enables Face Unlock feature. 

Under the hood, the phone comes powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset clubbed with 4GB of RAM. Concerning performance, the AI-accelerated  MediaTek Helio P22 chipset ensures smooth functioning of AI-assisted camera features on the phone. The Vivo Y95 runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based FunTouch 4.0 OS out-of-the-box. The Oreo-based FunTouch OS comes with a redesigned settings menu, additional emojis, autofill feature for passwords, and more.

The Vivo Y95 is backed by a non-removable 3,260mAh cell which is touted to offer an entire day of uninterrupted smartphone usage for a normal to moderate user. However, the handset does not offer fast charging support and you can expect refuelling to take a lot of time once you are drained out. On the storage front, the smartphone is loaded with an onboard storage space of 64GB which based on your requirements can be expanded further using a microSD card up to 256GB.

The Vivo Y95 boasts a 6.22-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution. The screen sports a halo notch on the top that hosts the selfie shooter, the proximity sensors, and the earpiece. The screen is paired with decent viewing angles and the 19:9 aspect ratio ensures that users have a pleasant viewing experience. However, legibility under bright sunlight is poor. The connectivity suite offers options like 4G with VoLTE support, dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
