Xiaomi Mi Max

Xiaomi Mi Max is the company's first phablet that makes it's mark with tons of great features. The phablet runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system wrapped under the proprietary MIUI 8. The latest version of the MIUI brings about a material design interface, new animations, and other cool features. 

The Mi Max is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 chipset which is paired with 3GB of RAM that is designed to enable flawless performance and simultaneously pave the way to work on multiple apps without any glitches. For storing files and data the device ships with an internal storage space of 32GB, which can further be expanded via a microSD card up to 128GB. However, for boosting the storage, one has to use the Hybrid SIM slot.  

On the front, the Xiaomi Mi Max flaunts a giant 6.44-inch Full HD IPS display that is coupled with impressive viewing angles which reproduce vibrant colours. The phablet does not suffer from any legibility issues, and the screen can be read easily even when placed under bright sunlight. 

For shutterbugs, there is a 16-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED Flash that can capture stunning images and record Full HD videos. Also, there are modes like face and smile detection, HDR, panorama, autofocus that add more to your images. For selfies and video calling, the Mi Max sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera paired with an 85-degree wide-angle lens. 

In terms of looks, the latest offering from the Chinese smartphone maker ships with a full metal unibody design with a thickness of just 7.5mm. Although a bit big in size, the device reflects a premium look and feel courtesy the metal back panel. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor 

Connectivity options on the Mi Max include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and Infrared. The device sips its juice from a huge 4,850 mAh battery that can easily last for more than a day with heavy usage and multitasking. Available in gold, light grey and silver colour options, the phablet looks impressive and packs a punch.
