Xiaomi Redmi S2

The Xiaomi Redmi S2 is yet another budget Android-based smartphone in the market. The device sports a metal rear panel which is capped with rounded edges on all sides. At the back, there is a fingerprint sensor which you can use to unlock the smartphone. The Xiaomi Redmi S2 also comes with the facial recognition feature which allows you to unlock the smartphone by just glancing at the screen.
For those who love shooting images and recording videos, the handset is armed with dual 12+5-megapixel rear sensors and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The primary lenses also have support for EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), along with the Portrait mode. Also, there is an LED flash at the back to aid low-light images. 

Xiaomi smartphones that are equipped with Snapdragon 625 chipset offers good performance, and the Redmi S2 looks no different either. The Xiaomi Redmi S2 is loaded with an octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset which is paired with 3GB of RAM that ensures smooth sailing. 
The Redmi S2 ships with a 5.99-inch HD+ display which does its job pretty well. The screen is paired with wide viewing angles and also offers decent legibility when placed under bright light. The screen on the device features Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

The Xiaomi Redmi S2 is armed with an onboard storage space of 32GB which as per user requirements can further be expanded using a microSD card up to 128GB. There is a dedicated memory expansion slot on the smartphone which is a bonus considering the fact that most smartphone ship with a Hybrid SIM slot. 
The smartphone is backed by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,080mAh battery which can be expected to last throughout the day for a normal user. 

The Xiaomi Redmi S2 runs the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system which is based on the company's own MIUI 9 skin on top.
