Xolo Era X

The Xolo Era X is the latest flagship device in the Era series of smartphones. Given its price range, the Era X aims at customers looking to buy an Android-based smartphone within a budget. 

For the Era X, Xolo has gone with the unibody design. The front and back are covered by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which gives it a premium touch. The Xolo Era X sports a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 294 ppi. Below the screen are touch-sensitive backlit keys instead of the home button.

The handset packs a 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830A processor and 2 GB of RAM under the hood. The CPU is accompanied by a 512MHz Mali 400MP2 GPU to please the gamer inside you. The phone comes with 8 GB of built-in storage that can be expanded by an additional 32 GB via microSD a card slot. 

In the camera department, the Xolo Era X sports an 8-megapixel rear camera unit along with an LED flash. The flash lets you click pictures even in a low-light setting. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera, also with an LED flash, is thrown in as well for selfies. 

The device draws power from a non-replaceable 2,500 mAh Li-ion battery. The Xolo Era X comes with a proprietary power management feature that lets you keep a check on the apps that hog resources.

The Era X is a dual-SIM device that runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G network. FM Radio is duly included. The handset also flaunts a K-class amplifier and Box speakers to give you an enhanced audio experience.
