Honor 9X

The HONOR 9X is the successor to the popular HONOR 8X smartphone. The HONOR 9X brings improvements in a lot of areas, including design, processing speed, cameras, connectivity, and battery life. The HONOR 9X features a gorgeous design with glass panels on the front and the rear. It has a 6.59-inch LTPS IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a completely bezel-less display. At the top of the phone, there s a motorized pop-up mechanism to hide the 16MP selfie camera. At the rear, the HONOR 9X has a 48MP+8MP+2MP triple-camera setup with PDAF, F1.8 aperture, and 1080p 60fps video recording. The phone uses a Kirin 710F SoC which uses 12nm fabrication process for four high-performance cores and four power-efficient cores. There s 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There s a hybrid microSD card slot for additional storage space. The HONOR 9X has a dual-SIM card slot with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The HONOR 9X is powered by a 4000mAh battery and it supports 10W fast charging. Some of the other popular HONOR mobiles include the HONOR 20 Pro, HONOR 20 Lite, and the HONOR Play 3.

HONOR 9X Goes Bezel-Less With 6.59-Inch Screen
The HONOR 9X uses a completely bezel-less screen, unlike the HONOR 8X s screen which had a waterdrop-shaped notch. The newer phone has a 6.59-inch LTPS IPS LCD screen panel with Full HD+ resolution (2340x1080 pixels), 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a capacitive touchscreen. There s a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, which makes up for an ergonomic design as well as makes way for a bezel-less screen. The phone uses a plastic chassis but there are glass panels on the front and the rear. The rear of the phone has a beautiful X-shaped pattern that glimmers when light hits the glass surface at different angles.
Kirin 710F Inside HONOR 9X Is Extremely Powerful Yet Power Efficient
The HONOR 9X uses the company s Kirin 710F processor. The Kiri 710F uses a 12nm lithography process for a smaller footprint and improved power efficiency. The chipset has four ARM Cortex-A73 CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz, four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked at 1.7GHz, and the ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. There s at least 4GB of RAM and at least 64GB of internal storage. There s a hybrid microSD card slot for storage space expansion. The HONOR 9X runs Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.0 software. The phone might not get the Android 10-based EMUI 10 update, though.
48MP+8MP+2MP Triple-Camera On The Honor 9X s Rear
The HONOR 9X uses a triple-camera setup for its rear-facing camera. Also, in sync with 2019 s smartphone imaging trend, the phone uses a 48MP primary sensor. There is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor for capturing images with background blur. The 48MP camera sensor has PDAF, F1.8 aperture, 1/2-inch sensor, and 1080p 60fps video recording. HONOR has used a motorized pop-up mechanism to hide its front-facing camera. It s a 16MP camera with F2.2 aperture and 1080p 30fps video recording.

The HONOR 9X is equipped with a larger battery to power a more potent processor. It comes packed with a 4000mAh non-removable battery. The phone comes bundled with a 10W charger. The HONOR 9X features not only dual-SIM card slot, but also dual-4G LTE, dual-VoLTE, and dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac. Other connectivity features of the phone include A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
