The Infinix Note 5 is a budget smartphone that ships with decent specifications which include a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, a big battery, and much more. The fingerprint reader is strategically placed to aid ease of use.
The battery on the smartphone is one of the plus points. The Infinix Note 5 draws juice from a massive non-removable 4,500mAh battery which can easily last for more than 24 hours upon a single charge.

The smartphone makes its mark with an onboard storage space of 32GB which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 128GB. One good thing is that the smartphone has a dedicated microSD card slot apart from the two SIM slots.
For imaging, you have 16-megapixel frontal imaging unit and a 12-megapixel rear camera. The rear imaging unit is ideal for shooting videos and images in both dark and bright environments while you can use the front-facing camera which comes with a Softlight Flash for selfies and video calling.

The handset features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display which is coupled with an 85% screen-to-body-ratio. The screen is paired with minimum bezels that makes it apt for watching videos or playing games. However, there is no Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
On the software front, the Infinix Note 5 boots Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box.

Armed with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 chipset and 3GB of RAM, the smartphone can carry basic tasks with ease. Multitasking on the Infinix Note 5 can be a tad tricky as you might notice few lags but overall you can expect smooth sailing.
Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE support, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
