LeEco Le 2 64GB

The Leeco Le 2 is the successor of the Le 1S and brings with it minor changes to the primary camera and fingerprint sensor. The device is a mid-range device priced at under Rs. 15,000.

In terms of design, the Le 2 lacks a 3.5mm audio jack and instead supports its own digital audio format, the CDLA or Continuous Digital Lossless Audio and is playable with the company’s earphones. The phone bears volume and power buttons on the right, Type C USB on the bottom. The phone weighs 153 grams and measures 151.1 x 74.2 x 7.5 mm making the phone quite light. The display is 5.5-inch IPS LCD with Full HD resolution and 401 PPI pixel density that shows everything with clarity and brightness. The phone lets you switch between display modes that show colors differently. The device is available in rose gold, gold, grey and silver colors.

The phone runs Marshmallow 6.0 with EUI 5.6 on top on the powerful Snapdragon 652 chipset with an octa-core processor (1.4 GHz quad-core + 1.8 GHz quad-core Cortex-A72 processors) and 3GB of RAM that handles tasks efficiently. The chipset also features an Adreno 502 GPU for games and graphics. It also handles 1080p videos. The phone comes with 32GB of storage that cannot be expanded. ?

The rear camera is 16-megapixels with an f/2.0 aperture that takes quality images. The position of the camera module has been changed to sit at the center of the phone and is larger than that seen in the Le1. The rear camera is assisted by PDAF and dual tone LED flash, and can record 4K videos at 30fps and 720p videos at 120fps. The sensor captures enough light to create quality images. The secondary camera is 8-megapixels with an f/2.2 aperture that also takes quality images. The battery on that powers the phone is 3,000mAh and is non-removable. The phone lasts a day with moderate use although gaming and heavy camera use will take a bigger toll on battery life. The fast charging feature is a boon that gives 50% charge to the battery in 30 minutes.

The Le 2 supports two micro-SIM cards, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type C for charging, and 4G LTE mobile data browsing. The phone supports GPS for navigation that is aided by A-GPS and GLONASS. A square fingerprint sensor sits at the back of the phone for security but can also be set to take self-portraits. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass.
