Motorola Moto G5 Plus

The Moto G5 Plus is the successor to the Moto G4 Plus. The two phones are mostly similar except an updated OS in the G5 Plus. The phone is priced at under Rs. 20,000.

The display on the Moto G5 Plus is 5.2-inch IPS LCD with Full HD resolution and 401 PPI pixel density, similar to the display in the G4 Plus. The display is capable of showing quality media. The phone features a fingerprint scanner below the screen under the home button. The device is available in black and white. Also, the screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The G5 Plus runs on a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB of RAM that runs demanding apps with ease. The 3GB RAM enables the phone to multitask efficiently. The phone runs 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Internal storage on the G5 Plus is 16GB that can be increased to 128GB with an SD card. Another variant of the phone will feature a 4GB RAM and 32GB of storage.

The G5 Plus features a rear 12-megapixel camera that captures quality images. The rear camera is aided by autofocus and dual LED flash. The rear camera also records videos in 4K at 30fps. The front 5-megapixel camera captures simple images and is also capable of recording in HD resolution. You can double twist your wrist to launch the camera which acts as an important gesture while trying to capture a precious moment. The G5 Plus is equipped with a 3,000mAh Li-ion battery that is non-removable. Quick Charge technology enables the phone to acquire 80% charge in under 30 minutes. Users will have to use the turbo charger that comes with the device to make use of Quick Charge.

The G5 Plus supports 4G and 3G mobile data via dual SIM cards. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, GPS aided by A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and a microUSB 2.0. The home button doubles as a fingerprint scanner. Other sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and a compass.
