OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition

The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is quite a looker with a carbon fiber pattern under the glossy glass rear panel. The body of the phone is Black with McLaren Papaya Orange color integrated subtly into the bottom edge. The McLaren branding does not just end design-wise, inside the box of this edition, users get McLaren logo named Speedmark that is carved out of McLaren designed F1 AA-grade carbon fiber. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition features a 6.41-inch full-HD+  (1080x2340 pixels ) AMOLED display bearing a waterdrop notch on the top of the front panel. The screen has 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The notch on top houses the front camera sensor along with ambient light sensor, distance, and RGB sensor. 

The ultra-powerful Snapdragon 845 chipset powers the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. It is the same chipset that powers some of the top-of-the-line flagships from Samsung, Google, Xiaomi, and more. There is whopping 10GB of RAM to turn the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition in a powerhouse. Under the hood, you get 256GB of storage that cannot be expanded further. The phone features an In-display fingerprint sensor, which is touted by OnePlus to unlock the phone in 0.34 seconds. This sensor works perfectly fine with the OnePlus screen protector. It's worth noting that OnePlus does not guarantee the functionality of the In-display fingerprint sensor with a third-party screen protector. Concerning biometrics, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition also includes the Face Unlock feature, which unlocks the phone in 0.4 seconds.

The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition sports a 16MP+20MP dual rear camera setup with Sony IMX519 and Sony IMX376K sensors, respectively. The rear cameras are aided by dual-LED flash, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS, Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), 4K video recording at 60fps, and Super Slow Motion video recording up to 240 fps. On the front, the phone has a 16MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture and EIS. Additionally, the front camera is equipped with Nightscene feature that enables it to capture brighter images in low-light with less noise by applying HDR algorithm and meshing up to 10 multi-frame shots collectively.

On the software side of things, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition runs Android 9.0 Pie-based OxygenOS out-of-the-box. A 3,700mAh battery backs the smartphone with Warp Charge 30 fast charging technology that is touted to charge the phone for a full-time usage in just 20 minutes. The phone connectivity options such as dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), USB Type-C (v2.0), Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and GPS/ A-GPS.
