Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo announced the release of the Oppo F5 4GB RAM, an upper-mid-range device that aims to perform like a flagship. Much like other Oppo devices, the primary focus of the device lies in delivering a stellar secondary camera performance. It measures 156.50 x 76.00 x 7.50 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 152.00 grams. The Oppo F5 4GB RAM is available in Gold and Rose Gold colours.

The Oppo F5 4GB RAM features a massive 6-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2048 pixels (386 ppi pixel density), powered by an Adreno 540 GPU and protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The primary camera is 20-megapixels with phase detection autofocus(PDAF), digital zoom, auto flash, face detection, touch to focus, HDR and panorama. It can record 4k videos at 30 fps. The secondary camera 20-megapixels with LED flash, which also can record 4k videos at 30 fps. Oppo has successfully managed to live up to their 'selfie expert' reputation with the primary cameras.

The Oppo F5 4GB RAM is powered by an octa core MediaTek MT6763T  SoC with four cores clocked at 2.45GHz and four cores clocked at 1.9GHz, along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD expansion. The battery is a non-removable Li-pol unit that supports Quick Charge, allowing you change the 3,200mAh beast quickly. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It runs Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box.
